Framed Horizon House

A contemporary minimalist house where a dark, grounded base carries a light sculptural upper volume, opened to the landscape through full-height glazing.

Framed Horizon House, 3D Visualization by Ar. Sumon Mia

The idea

Framed Horizon House explores how simple geometry and natural light can create a sense of luxury. The composition is built from a few clear volumes: a dark, grounded base supports a light, sculptural upper form, and the contrast between the two gives the house its calm balance.

The process

The visualization focuses on what makes minimalist architecture work: proportion, light and material. Full-height glazing connects the interiors with the landscape, timber accents add warmth to the restrained palette, and deep overhangs provide passive shading. The scene was modeled in SketchUp and 3ds Max and rendered in Corona, with lighting studied carefully to show how daylight shapes the spaces.

The result

The final images present a house where every design decision is visible and intentional. Simple forms, open glass and soft daylight come together in a home that feels both refined and welcoming.
