Layout Design

Contemporary Townhouse, 3D Cutaway

A multi-level townhouse presented as a 3D cutaway, showing layout, circulation, interiors and terraces together in one axonometric view.

The idea

Floor plans are precise, but many clients find them hard to read. This project turns the plans of a contemporary multi-level townhouse into a 3D cutaway, so the organization of the home can be understood at a glance: where people arrive, how they move between levels, and how each room connects to terraces and planting.

The process

An elevated axonometric view removes the walls and roofs that normally hide these relationships. Warm materials and controlled daylight give the spaces a real, lived-in character: timber floors, natural wood cabinetry, soft neutral furnishings and generous greenery. Furniture, lighting and details are modeled at true scale, so each space reads clearly as living, dining, kitchen, bedroom, service or outdoor area.

The result

The visualization bridges technical planning and everyday experience. Instead of a drawing only architects can read, the client sees how the house will be organized, furnished and lived in across every level.
